Privacy Notice
Effective June 30, 2026. Applies to Better Than A Letter LLC (Piñatagrams).
We use first-party analytics to understand how the preview tool is used, and — when we're running ads — the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. You can opt out of both here. We also automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by some browsers and extensions.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a quote we collect your email and/or phone number, optional company name, and the design choices you make (piñata style, quantity, brand colors, logo).
- Usage analytics. First-party analytics about how the preview tool is used — pages and steps reached, the style you pick, whether a logo was added, and where you arrived from (referrer and any campaign/UTM parameters). We use a first-party cookie to group these actions into a single visit. We do not store your IP address.
- Advertising and measurement. When we run ads, we use the Meta Pixel — a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. — to measure whether visitors who came from our ads go on to request a quote. When it is active, it shares limited information about your visit and quote request with Meta (for example, the action you took, the page, a timestamp, and identifiers Meta sets through its own cookies). The pixel does not load and sends nothing if you have opted out (see Your choices and rights below).
How we use it
- To prepare and send the quote you requested.
- To understand and improve how the tool performs and which sources send interested visitors.
- To measure how our advertising performs — and only when the Meta Pixel is active and you have not opted out.
- To contact you about your request and, if you agree, about our products.
How we share it
We keep this data in our own systems and with service providers that help us run the tool (hosting, database, and email/SMS delivery) under contract.
When the Meta Pixel is active, information about your visit and quote request is shared with Meta to measure and improve our advertising. Under some state privacy laws — for example California, Texas, and Colorado — this use of the Meta Pixel may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not otherwise sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other advertisers.
You can stop this sharing at any time using the opt-out control at the top of this page, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. When you opt out, the Meta Pixel does not load and no information is sent to Meta.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of analytics and advertising using the control at the top of this page — it turns off both our usage analytics and the Meta advertising pixel. We also automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for advertising. You can opt out of sale/sharing with the control at the top of this page (which covers the Meta Pixel); for access, correction, or deletion requests, email team@pinatagrams.com.
- Email/text. We only text you if you ask us to. You can stop messages anytime by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it.
